Where's my team ID?

Open the Points page on the FPL site. It's the number after /entry/ in the address bar: fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/event/6. You can add it now or later.

Ask the Gaffer

Ask in plain English. It checks your team's numbers first, and we check every figure in the answer.

Straight talk

Good at

  • Free to start, and it never asks for your FPL password
  • Planning five gameweeks ahead, not just this one
  • Showing the working behind every number
  • Spotting flagged players before the deadline does
  • Telling you when a -4 isn't worth it
  • Timing your chips across both halves of the season
  • Keeping an eye on your mini-league rivals
  • Publishing its misses on the Accuracy page

Not so good at

  • Crystal balls. One match is mostly luck, and nobody told Haaland about our model.
  • Press conferences. It can't decode a manager's injury riddles, so check team news before the deadline.
  • Being right every time. The Gaffer can be wrong (just like a real one), and his answers use credits.
  • Pressing the button. It's read-only, unofficial and about an hour behind FPL, so the transfer (and the blame) is still yours.
  • Double gameweeks and head-to-head leagues: untested, like a summer signing. Your free transfers are its best guess too, and you can correct it.
